Stumps Cottage is on the B2027 Penshurst Road, just west of Penshurst station. Access to the M25 is at Junction 5 which is approximately 10 miles distant.

The nearest station is Penshurst which is on the Redhill-Tonbridge line operated by Southern. Penshurst station is unmanned and facilities are minimalt. From London. trains run from London Bridge or Victoria to Penshurst via Redhill. Alternatively, come from Charing Cross, Waterloo East or London Bridge on the Kent coast line, changing at Tonbridge.

Stumps Cottage is only three minutes walk from the station. (Facing the Little Brown Jug pub over the road, turn left out of the station.

London Gatwick is approximately 15 miles away. Trains from Gatwick to Penshurst are served by the Tonbridge line (change at Redhill). A taxi from the airport costs approximately £50.
